I began to realise that my environment affects everything, my mood, how I communicate, and most importantly, how I show up for the people I love. I reached a point where I knew I needed to take charge of my personal space again.
That’s when I stepped into the world of fragrance. For months, I studied, watched videos, and read books, soaking up every bit of knowledge I could. I practiced, tested, and refined until I finally felt somewhat equipped to put everything into action.
I’ve always believed that our surroundings shape how we feel, and I wanted to pass that same sense of ease, warmth, and grace into other people’s homes through my candles.
Throughout my life, I’ve started many things that I never fully completed or saw succeed. So stepping into candle making was honestly frightening. I asked myself:
“Do I really want to try something again that could be another epic fail?”
But I chose to believe in the grace of God. Grace reminds me that even when things don’t go perfectly, it’s still worth trying again.
IOG isn’t just a candle brand, it's a reflection of my life journey.
God gave me this name long before I ever poured my first candle. IOG was born from my desire to help busy hearts and homes reset, take charge, and feel the grace to go on.
